A few friends from Miami will arrive over the holidays and are always interested in nightlife - clubs, music. It's not really my interest so I'm hopeful someone can tell me some places or things for my friends' to experience.

Age, budget available, musical preferences, straight/gay/ indifferent, a place to dance, a place to listen to shows, is food important at the place, section of the city, first/tenth time in Brazil, want something typical or prefer a more cosmopolitan place, etc.

They're in their late 40's and early 50's, they're a mixed group who like to dance (club types) and food would be a great inclusion. Thanks!
